The ride up had nearly made her sick both from her excitement and the fact the the Pidget didn't seem to have any other speed but breakneck. Although she knew she was perfectly safe, Sabine felt as though she was about to fall off at any second. Her feet planted firmly on solid ground, she turned to pat the Pokemon on the head and slipped a Pokedollar into the tip pouch around it's neck before watching it soar back below the clouds. She took a few moments to regain a sense of equilibrium before scouting out the area she was in. A sign near her pointed to an archway in the distance "Bellossomy Town: 300 yards ->". Excited, Sabine set off in the direction of the town wishing her stomach would settle.
Twenty minutes later Sabine arrived at the town's entrance and was overwhelmed by the floral smell. She clutched at her nose to keep from sneezing. She thought about what an awful smell the town really gave off. Sabine had never been a fan of flowers or floral scents, and she was always fonder of chocolates or jewelry as trinkets of affection. The only fragrance she could slightly enjoy was rose, and it only in small doses. It didn't help that the sky was darkening and the hint of rain came with the wind adding a musky scent to the scene. Sabine saw that the main road lead to a large building, and Sabine assumed this was the Pokemon Lab. Hoping to avoid the oncoming rain, Sabine hastened down the street at a brisk walk.
She stopped just short of the door to reassure herself of what she was doing. This was the first step on a journey she had been wanting to go on since she was ten years old. Her parents had reassured her that they would be alright, but Sabine had the nagging feeling that she should go back to take care of them. She then began thinking that her sister got to live her dream though, so why shouldn't she? She was also worried that this wasn't the right path for her. What if she made for a better coordinator , breeder, or the only thing she was good at was taking care of the dead and abandoned Pokemon of the world. She argued to herself that she would never find out if that was true or not without getting started. Tentatively, Sabine opened the doors to the lab just as she felt the first droplets of rain hit her hair.
Upon entering she closed the door behind her, and the sound of the rain growing stronger died away. Sabine didn't see anyone waiting for her and no one in sight. Were they closed? She rejected the thought because if they were, the door would have been locked. She stood for a few minutes waiting for someone to appear. When no one she began to wonder if there was anyone here at all. Pushing past a welcome desk, Sabine made her way into the lab hoping to find someone who would give her first Pokemon.
She's gonna step outside, uncover her eyes.
