How do I obtain my starter?
Obtaining your starter Pokemon is relatively easy and there are two different ways to do so. The first way is by posting in one of the Pokemon labs, it can be any lab in any region. Just remember though, that the region you obtain your starter in will be the one that you're stuck in till you've progressed a bit through this roleplay. The second way is by creating an encounter thread and encountering the Pokemon in order to befriend it. This second method is the only way Pokemorphs and Gijinkas can gain their first Pokemon, because of their appearances, society won't readily accept them yet. Wild Pokemon however, are a different story.
Different labs work differently?
You will find that, depending on what Pokemon lab you happen to walk into, the way you receive your starter may be different then some of the others. For example, there are some labs that will only hand out the three basic starters from all the different generations, while other labs may only have grass types in stock. See what I mean? Black order and Team Rocket members have to go to 'specialized labs' in order to obtain their Pokemon.
What are the possible starters?
I don't feel a need to show you what the possible starters are. First of all, the ones you can receive are random based on the application you filled in. Ultimately it's up to the professor or assistant looking after you to choose which ones you get. The starters can be any basic evolution Pokemon with the exception of legendaries of course. Also Eevee cannot be obtained in a lab as a starter but it can be obtained through an extremely rare encounter in the wild. On another note, Pokemon like Igglybuff and Pichu count as baby Pokemon, not basic.
