TEAM ROCKET!
Prepare for trouble and make it double because this evil organization is a force to be reckoned with. Many will instantly know who they are by their trademark symbol, a thick and red letter R. This organization, stylized much like that of a mafia, has been around for longer than the humans of the world realize. Their fame seems to stem from their hold over Kanto and Johto all those years ago, seemingly forced to disband twice at the hands of young trainers. This is far from the truth. Team Rocket has been around for centuries, though only Giovanni made it into the history books and newspapers. What occurred behind the scenes, however, could easily break the image people originally had of them. Stolen Pokemon, those that were not sold, were--and even still are--experimented on. The experiments that survive, with a low success rate, are often kept for themselves or sold to the highest bidder. The group often pays off the police to keep them from storming various bases they have all over the world. They sometimes even purposefully put their names in the paper to gain the spotlight for one reason or another, be it for more money or to strike fear into the public.
Team Rocket, while a very large organization, is very well-run. It has to be in order to last for so long, braving through the centuries, and even lasting through the trials of war. Team Rocket can easily be divided into multiple ranks with the largest grouping being the grunt rank, also known as dogsbody. Said grunts are trained at a specialized academy that nobody is given the location of until the proper time, only to be sworn into secrecy. This academy teaches them exactly what they need to be a successful Team Rocket member, and it is at this academy that the grunts are paired up and given a trial Pokemon so that they can see how well they work in a team. It is, after all, called Team Rocket for a reason. Upon graduating the academy, usually around three to five years after enrolling with the youngest allowed into the academy at fourteen, they are shipped off to meet the head of Team Rocket. There, they will be given their official starter Pokemon and begin working as a grunt. Working your way up the ladder takes time, patience, and a lot of kissing up to the boss. Listed below are the ranks of Team Rocket. Those of importance will be actually listed underneath their title.

THE BLACK ORDER!
Another organization of old, the Black Order was originally created to deal with the Team Rocket menace during the time of the Faded Cross War. To combat Team Rocket and their genetically altered Pokemon, they created their own genetically altered soldiers, using human and Pokemon DNA. These creations were shunned by society and feared, yet they forever had a spot in the ranks of the Black Order, even Team Rocket once they were more or less 'adopted'. The Black Order can very easily be compared to Team Rocket. They are a closely knit organization that is both expansive and powerful, lasting over the centuries and into the present day. Their true mission is rather unclear with the war being over and all. They are definitely more secretive than their rival organization, so the public is allowed to let their minds run wild, creating crazy theories as to their purpose.
