NINETEEN ~ MALE ~ 5'4" ~ DEMISEXUAL
THE JOURNEY STARTS HERE ~
HOMETOWN & REGION: Viridian Forest, Kanto
ORGANIZATION: The Black Order
SPECIES: Abra
FACE CLAIM: ROXAS // KINGDOM HEARTSWHO AM I?
FRIENDS & FAMILY:BACHMEIER, sascha - father - deceased @ 35APPEARANCE:
BACHMEIER, elle - mother - 47 - whereabouts unknown
BACHMEIER, nikolaus - brother - 20 - whereabouts unknownNATURAL ABILITIES:Gabriel does not look like someone who harbors the genetic code of a Pokemon, with his blond hair kept in more or less a state of disheveled I just got out of bed. He doesn't bother to tame it, instead running his fingers through his hair to keep it out of his face most of the time. Blond hair is accompanied by round blue eyes, though he tends to keep them narrowed and squinted, especially when he is out in the sunlight. Pale skin is soft to the touch, unmarred by scars or the like. His style of dress is rather lazy, being whatever he has available at the time. Dressing down means nothing to him as long as he's comfortable. His height doesn't even seem to bother him until it is actually mentioned, but that is a story for another time. In short, Gabriel looks... Normal, for the most part. It takes a keen eye and probably a highly developed sense of smell in order to see the minuscule differences, such as the way his hair rarely moves in the wind, kept in place by a force unseen to the human eye.PERSONALITY:Being an Abra, Gabriel has access to all kinds of psychic abilities. The most notable one would be his teleportation which allows him to, well, teleport from place to place without having to move a muscle. He also has telekinetic abilities that allow him lift objects and move them, compress them, etc. He has not bothered much with actually honing his psychic abilities, so his telekinetic uses are limited. He can also read minds, though he knows not to go poking too deep. He only does it subconsciously with everyone around him to check for danger. As soon as it is sensed, a flip is switched, and he is out of there. He can also speak through telepathy. Using any of his psychic powers strains his body, though most of his powers are used around the clock no matter what. Like his Pokemon DNA, he has to sleep long hours each day. How long? Eighteen hours. That leaves him with only six hours to be awake. While he is asleep, he can sense the world around him, checking for danger. If he does sense danger, he will teleport away without having to wake up. Where he teleports? The area is chosen at random, so he could end up on top of a roof or in a well. Also, when teleporting away from danger, he leaves a temporary copy of himself in that spot that just stays there before flickering out. There is a strange air around this boy. It's almost like a sense of emptiness that becomes overwhelming and suffocating to those who can feel it. This air tells more about him than words alone could. He finds true emotions to be something he more or less lacks. The strange feeling that swells in his chest is dismissed as indigestion. The comfort and happiness that comes from being around someone he likes is ignored. The only emotion that he can understand is fear. Fight or flight is his primary instinct, and he chooses flight the moment he senses danger, the moment the fear starts to set in. It is all he has ever known, to flee the scene before it becomes a crime scene. Some might consider this trait of his to make him useless to the Black Order, yet it actually makes him quite useful. He is able to get whomever he is partnered with out of the area before the police arrive. He has also been trained resist the urge to teleport to safety whenever it comes from a member of the Black Order. If he senses the police or anyone else that could spoil the mission, he is to alert the Black Order member before teleporting them away. In the case that he is dragged along on a mission while he is asleep (if guided, he will walk even while asleep), eh... Well, it's more of a guessing game for whoever he is with.
One might say that he is overly obedient to the Black Order. This... Is not too far from the truth. He will follow the order of any member except for the grunts. He doesn't deem them worthy just yet. It is once they are promoted that he actually starts listening to them. Gabriel also finds it hard to trust anyone outside of the Black Order. He has been known to turn a blind eye to anyone from the outside, and it takes someone who can keep him from teleporting just to get anywhere near him. Force him to remain in one place and he will be forced to socialize with someone outside of the Black Order. He might become a bit snappy, but the worse he can do is throw a twig or something at you or give you a headache. Once he does get to know you and begins to trust you, which might take a long time, a miracle, or a lot of sweets, then he will slowly open up. He doesn't understand much of the world, however, so he might just end up asking you a lot of questions on just about anything, especially any weird feelings of foreign emotions he might obtain.
MY PAST IS A MYSTERY ~
To say you were born in a forest may seem strange at first when referring to a seemingly human family. It was a four member family, with the usual mother, father, and children, all of which shared the same blond, almost straw colored, hair. The parents and eldest child shared the same red eyes while their youngest child, Gabriel, was born with eyes like the ocean. This mattered not to his mother and brother, yet it seemed to irk his father. He jumped to conclusions, claiming that the boy's mother had an affair that lead to his birth. This was not the case, yet his father seemed hung up on the idea. It was his only way to explain the difference in eye colors despite not every one of their kind sharing both the hair and eye color of their species. Regardless of his mother's attempts at convincing his father otherwise, the man was stubborn. He turned to ignoring the existence of his youngest son while the rest of the family was around and turning violent the moment they were alone.
Gabriel did not have to deal with this for long, thank Arceus. His father was an Alakazam, though it was apparent that he was not the brightest Alakazam in the world. Even so, he was fated to the same fate as every other Alakazam: an early death. Gabriel was only six at the time when he woke up to find his father dead on the forest floor. He was killed from his always multiplying brain cells which, in the end, left him in a mess on the forest floor, having fallen while he was high in the trees, foraging. His mother tried to cover his eyes, but the image was already etched into his brain. She ushered him away from scene along with his brother, taking him to the other side of Viridian Forest. Her way of keeping them away only put them in danger as soon as she left to deal with the body.
As soon as she disappeared through the leaves, a squad of grunts made their move. Gabriel tried to teleport away, but he was caught by Shadow Tag. His brother, however, understood the importance of running, so he did. He left Gabriel sitting there, unaware what he should do as the fear turned him into a statue with stiff muscles and blue eyes wide, watching as the grunts closed around him. They didn't even bother with his brother, instead choosing to take the easier prey. Now, this little kidnapping stunt they pulled ended with one of the higher ups yelling at them and making a big display in front of the boy. In truth, however, it was just a way to get little Gabriel to trust the higher ups. He already lost all form of trust in the grunts, so to make him feel more comfortable with the higher ups was key to getting him to obey them. On the downside, any time he tried to disobey them, he was beaten. They kept Pokemon with Shadow Tag or Trap Arena around him at all times, making sure that he could not escape whenever he wanted. By the time he was ten, he gave up on trying to leave, to find his family.
Within time, he grew accustomed to how his new 'family' worked. He got used to wearing different clothes each day, having only had an oversized shirt and baggy pants while living in the forest. He learned the basics of acting more or less human, and he was slowly taught how to use the human tongue. Oh, right. He only ever had the need to communicate through telepathy before the Black Order found him. His family saw no use for actually speaking. By the time he was fifteen, the Order started sending him out with different squads to aid them in their missions. He soon understood the meaning of giving people a little warning before doing something after accidentally leaving the squad as he teleported to safety.
