Delilah doesn't really look like someone who's well suited for adventuring and roughing it in the great outdoors. She is quite short for her age, standing at a mere five feet tall, and over all she has a very fragile look to her, having very little in the way of extra muscle or body fat. She has fair colored skin, unmarred by any significant scarring or tattoos, and bright aquamarine eyes.
Her most notably unusual feature though, is her hair. While the top layer of hair is overwhelmed by a dark raven colored hair, underneath the hair is a shade of pinkish lavendar. Despite the bizarreness of it, this is actually her natural hair color, presumably resultant from being half Espeon Gijinka. This is the only real physical hint of her not completely human lineage, and she usually passes it off as hair dye to avoid the weirded out looks and discrimination that usually results when people find out she's the product of interbreeding between a human and a gijinka.
As far as clothing goes, Delilah does like to dress somewhat nicely, regardless of where she may be going or if something else would be more practical. She likes dresses, pleated skirts, and other more formal attire coupled with striped stockings. The only more practical clothing she wears on a regular basis, are running shoes or sometimes even boots so long as they aren't too heavy. This is mostly because she can't really hope to keep her feet remotely clean enough and can't justify having her good dress shoes coated in dirt on a regular basis.

Growing up, Delilah was always taught the importance of manners. Regardless of who she speaks to, she does her best to be polite, say her pleases and thank yous, and so on. While she might have less favorable opinions of some people than others, she tries not to be overly judgmental and she avoids speaking badly of anyone regardless of what she thinks of them. Likewise, she does expect the same treatment from others, and dislikes people who behave poorly and show little consideration for others.
Delilah is also does her best to treat others with kindness, and it's extremely unusual for her to ever deliberately say or do anything mean. She especially adores pokemon of all kinds, and is very doting to them. She especially loves baby pokemon, and she's made it her primary goal to become a master breeder and raise strong and healthy pokemon.
Compassion is also very important to Delilah. She believes that everyone has a right to be treated with respect and dignity, whether they be human, pokemon, or anything in between. Delilah isn't the kind of person to hate too easily, but those who abuse others are quick to get there anyway.
Though she is kind, considerate and loving, she is not without fault. She is a very clumsy person, often fumbling things in her hands and bumping into things and people. She is also very unathletic, often tripping over her own feet when she tries to run, and she can't swim at all. Don't even ask her to climb anything, because that won't happen either. She's also a very hopeless fighter as well, and couldn't really hurt anyone to save her own life. Because of this, she is very dependent on her friends and pokemon for protection. She's also very self-conscious about this fact and often feels bad that she can't do more to help herself.
Delilah is also a somewhat vain person, and does put a great deal of effort into maintaining a presentable appearance, sometimes more than one really should when out on adventures. She's also a neat-freak, and tries her best to keep herself, her pokemon and her belongings as clean as possible. She has a strong dislike for filth, and she does have a low tolerance for anything that is even slightly smelly. Despite this though, she isn't the kind of person who keeps themselves confined inside their comfort zone, and she is more than willing to endure unfavorable conditions in order to get what she wants.

Her mother had been the daughter of an Earl in a distant kingdom, and she had met her father during a visit with family who lived in the Leurrun Region. Young Lady Renée Holland had only gone out for some fresh air, but ended up walking too far into the forest, and ended up getting lost. Unfortunately she ended up getting on the bad side of a troop of mankey, and it was then that the Gijinka stepped in to save her.
After he had saved her life, it was hard not to admire the young man. It wasn't just that he saved her life, but something about him was just so attractive. Perhaps the aspect of him being part pokemon just made him seem so interesting. Whatever it was, for the remaining duration of her visit, she spent more and more time sneaking off to be with the Espeon Gijinka, and over time their relationship grew stronger, and every day it became clearer and clearer that she loved this man.
Unfortunately though, it was only a matter of time until someone figured out where she was running off to every night. Her older brother followed her into the woods one day, and caught her with the Gijinka. The stigma surrounding Magnus' kind was strong, even among foreign visitors. Renée had been ordered back home, and to never seek the gijinka out again, on the threat that he would be executed if she refused to stay away from the 'beast'.
Heart broken, she returned home, and their visit to the region was cut short. Angered by her family's unbridled bigotry against her lover, she fled half way through the trip, and returned to Leurrun on foot. It had taken a long time to return to him, but her perseverance came through for her, and she eventually found herself under those trees again, reunited with the man she loved.
Knowing that Renée's family would eventually find them, they moved about the region, laying low and avoiding contact with her relatives. Years past though, and her family would eventually move on without her, while Renée established a new life within the Leurrun Region. Making their home in one of the region's more rural homes, they began their life together, and soon they were expecting a child, a daughter they would name Delilah.
That was where Delilah's life began. She had a good upbringing as a toddler, with both her parents doting on her and raising her to be the kind and respectful person she is today. She was around five years old when she first started to show signs of having inherited at least her father's psychic abilities, and he would spend a great deal of time helping her develop them further. Unfortunately though, due to being half human she would never be quite as strong a psychic as her father.
In their travels together, Delilah's parents did have a number of pokemon of various species, and she grew up around all of them. She'd help her mother groom and take care of them, and in doing so she's developed a strong love for pokemon that has lead her on the path to becoming a breeder. It might have taken her a bit longer than some to find her confidence and follow her dreams, but at the still ripe age of seventeen, she is now on her way to becoming a great pokemon breeder.

Being the daughter of a gijinka, Delilah has inherited some of her father's abilities, though also being half human, she isn't quite as powerful as a full gijinka. She can use telepathy to detect the presence of both people and pokemon, as well as communicate with them, though only when they are within normal talking distance. She can also understand pokemon language like her father and speak fluently with pokemon. Unlike most gijinka though, she cannot be successfully captured by a poke ball, though a ball thrown at her will still attempt it and the process of it trying to suck her in is still very painful.
She can also use telekinesis to a degree, though this is fairly limited for her. It only works on objects that are within a three meter radius of her, and the object(s) in question cannot surpass a total weight of twenty pounds. Anything that moves (such as a pokemon) also becomes very difficult to lift the more it struggles. She also can't really move things around with much force, meaning that she couldn't throw whatever she's holding, or force an object out of someone's grip.
