SHE'S A BRAVE NEW GIRL, AND SHE'S COMING OUT TONIGHT
SURFACEFEATURES
Standing at about five-foot two, Sabine doesn't really stand out in a crowd. Her blue eyes would probably be on the watch for a friendly face. She would be wearing her medium blonde hair in two braided pigtails if not just letting it cascade down to about her navel. The ovular nature of her face makes it look as though her features are asymmetrical with one eye slightly higher than the other ,but her small button nose even them out. She would probably be pursing her thin pale lips into an even thinner line as she judged her next course of action. She would most likely be wearing a pair of blue jeans and an over sized sweater on any normal occasion. If she were to go to a fancy affair though, she has a blue velvet dress that her parents bought her. She also has ceremonial robes just in case the occasion should arise.

THEMASKTHEYWEAR
As daughter to a family of ,basically, funeral service providers, Sabine has a great amount of empathy for others and respect for the ways of all people and Pokemon. Having been born in Lavender Town, she is very superstitious and quick to believe the legends/myths/folk lore of any given town or region. Albeit this, or maybe because of, she has always been very curious in learning about everything she can about any way of Pokemon life. She doesn't like to be told no or that she can't do something. She is likely to "bend the rules" a little to ease her restless curiosity even recklessly putting herself in danger. Despite being as polite as she can be to naysayers, she usually always thinks her way is the right way and is stubborn to having people help her out.
Although she is friendly, Sabine does not make friends easily. She doesn't like the fact that people could just leave when they want to. Her biggest fears are that she will never accomplish anything besides being a groundskeeper for Mr. Fuji. She also fears that the world is actually much less interesting than the all the stories have led her to believe. She dreams of gathering all the lore from as many regions as possible and writing a book about them. She also hopes to not give up on her training like her parents did. Due to working the Lavender Volunteer Pokemon House and the Pokemon Tower, she has affinity to any both taking care of any abandoned or abused Pokemon as well as a particular fondness for ghost Pokemon. She has had a distaste for big business ever since the tower was turned into a radio station. She thinks it's wrong that they could take something so sacred and honored and destroy it for personal gain.

Renee Lily Meade ~ Older Sister
Sabine Andrea Meade was the second daughter to born to Nicole and Alexander Meade the funeral service directors of the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town, Kanto. From an early age her sister and she were brought into the family business learning the way to properly take care of the dead. Her sister wasn't too fond of this line of work and when she was able she left to start her training as a Pokemon breeder; she found she rather deal with the joy of bringing life rather than dealing with death. Sabine, however, found this all very interesting. She learned what she could from her parents, but then she turned to Mr. Fuji, the owner of the tower, for more information on the rituals of death and the care of those spirits.
When she was ready to leave for her own Pokemon journey, she was set back by her father having a heart attack which kept him from performing some of the more physical aspects of his job. Making sure that they wouldn't have to without, Sabine took over his job as well as began to work at Mr. Fuji's house where he took in all the abandoned and abused Pokemon he found. After about a year of working at the rescue shelter, she came across the first Pokemon she actually felt a connection to. A pink Flabebe had been left outside of town by vacationers who though this Pokemon didn't fit into their niche or type specialty. Having only heard of fairy types from people passing through town, Sabine took a great interest in the new resident. After coaxing the shy thing from it's solitude, Sabine asked Mr. Fuji's permission to take it the Pokemon professor in Pallet Town to see what the best thing was a for a fairy type. Saying goodbye to her father and mother, she set off for the first adventure of her young life.
A few months passed by and Sabine was finally back in town when she came upon a shocking site. There were construction worker painting and remodeling the Pokemon Tower! Sabine immediately ran to Mr. Fuji who explained that the radio company of Kanto had bought it and was transferring it to a station. Outraged, Sabine demanded to know what was to be done with all the graves. He explained they were to put in a spirit shrine with catacombs under the actual structure. Angered and astonished, Sabine went to the tower to protest, but no one listened. To her astonishment, no one cared and continued to work around her. For days, she did this ,but she had no luck changing anyone's minds. She finally consented to transferring the graves because she didn't want just any old joe disturbing the spirits and desecrating the graves. She must have done something wrong despite her precautions though because soon she was being haunted.
At first she thought she was just hallucinating from being over stressed with relocating all the graves, taking care of her family, and making sure the Pokemon at the foster home were okay. It started innocently at first with things moving slightly or not being able to find her things. Things grew progressively worse until one day she was pushed down her stairs and locked the Flabebe in a closet. Scared she sought out Mr. Fuji and described the strange happenings. After investigating further and performing some cleansing rituals, Mr. Fuji informed her that a deceased Clefairy had clung to her and was afraid to continue to a different place of rest. It identified with Sabine's resentment of moving the Pokemon and was using her negative emotions to project its own. To have the lingering Clefairy move on, Sabine needed to overcome her own prejudices and accept the inevitable fate of her beloved tower. Mr Fuji wanted the spirit to be exorcized, but Sabine held a private ceremony in the House of Memories and let both her prejudices and the Clefairy go. She still had a distaste for the company and her dislike of big business stemmed from this episode.
What she didn't know though was that the radio was going to begin a new part of her life. Her mother had been listening one day and had been the lucky winner of a huge lottery. There was enough money for the family to get by on and also go on vacation and visit Renee who had found a ranch in the Kalos region to breed on. Now that her family was financially secure it was time for Sabine to go on her own trainer adventure. After visiting her sister and leaving the Flabebe with her parents, Sabine set off to a distant region known as Leurrun hoping to find out all she could about it's customs and hoping to come back a great Pokemon trainer.
